So I wanted to make a gluten-free rosé beer. At first that meant a raspberry ale and I was set to go forward except there were endless amounts of blackberries in season at the time and my brewer assured me he could come up with exactly what I had in mind. After 9 months of recipe experimentation with Ground Breaker Brewing in Portland, we launched CORSA Rose Gold Ale. A clean, crisp brew with the perfect blend of visual beauty and palette structure. We made the ale with brown rice, gluten-free oats, blackberries and hops.
Maybe you are all wondering, why the name CORSA? I wanted something simple but powerful. CORSA means “race” in Italian. Yes I have shared a love for high-powered Italian supercars over the years and have also raced track. Just all a part of who I am. Everyone asks me, did you gear this beer toward females? Well, not really. Don’t guys drink rosé wine and champagne too? Although my brand does appeal to the fit female, it is equally enjoyed by men, craft beer connoisseurs and non-beer drinkers alike. So go out and grab some CORSA! It’s the perfect reward for après the track or the trail! 5.5% abv 30 IBU
